ASTA takes the burden of developers and allows you to build cross platform, thin client, zero admin, secure, scalable Database applications that can run over the Internet. We want you to concentrate on coding your application rather than dealing with low level issues like threading, encryption, or writing SQL update statements. With ASTA you set properties rather than have to implement with code.

AstaIO is the next generation of ASTA designed from the ground up to be cross platform and with a pluggable transport. AstaIO supports Delphi 5 and Delphi 6 Professional and Kylix Desktop. With a native XML Parser and SOAP support built in AstaIO allows servers and clients to be mixed and matched under Windows and Linux.

An ASTA SkyWire Database Server and SkyWire Emulator are available from within the Delphi like PocketStudio IDE along with the AstaSQLExplorer to allow easy access to remote databases over the internet at design time. Remember all this is available on PocketPC also!
